Information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information about insurance products available in India. It is not legal advice on the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the DPDP Rules, 2025, and it is not a recommendation tailored to your business until we have reviewed your risk in writing.
Quotes and estimates
The exposure meter and any premium figures shown are indicative planning tools built on published cost benchmarks and standard rates. They are not quotations. A quotation is valid only when issued in writing by an insurer, and cover begins only when the insurer confirms it and the premium is received.
Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation
Acceptance of risk, premium, terms, sub-limits and exclusions are determined by the insurer's underwriting. Read the policy wording, schedule and endorsements. Where this site and the policy wording differ, the wording governs.
Your obligations
Insurance depends on the accuracy of what you declare. Statements made in a proposal form about your security controls, past incidents and data volumes must be true and complete; a misstatement can void cover at the moment you need it.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this site belong to DPDP Insurance India unless stated otherwise. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link.
Third-party links
We link to regulators, insurers and public sources for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general information published here. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by Indian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
