What we collect, and why
- Enquiry details — name, company, work email, phone, the cover you asked about, your record volumes and turnover band, and anything you type into the message box. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and to obtain insurance quotations.
- Underwriting information — if you proceed, the proposal form and supporting documents you send us.
- Technical data — standard server logs. This site does not set advertising cookies.
Our lawful basis
We process the enquiry form on your consent, given by ticking the consent box. For an active policy we also process data to perform our contract with you and to meet obligations under insurance regulation.
Who we share it with
Insurers and reinsurers you ask us to approach, and the service providers who help us operate — email hosting, CRM and document storage. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are erased once the purpose is served. Policy and claims records are retained for the period required by insurance law and limitation periods, then erased.
Your rights as a data principal
You may ask for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, or the nomination of another person to exercise your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time, which will not affect processing already carried out. Write to hello@dpdpinsurance.in and we will respond within the timelines the Rules require. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, logging and vendor due diligence proportionate to the data we hold. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will notify you as the Rules require.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a child without verifiable parental consent.

We will post any update on this page with a revised date.
