We only sell three things
No motor, no group health, no shop insurance. Three covers means we read every cyber wording in the Indian market rather than skimming forty product lines.
DPDP Insurance India is a specialist cyber and data-risk insurance practice working out of Sector 5, Noida, with clients across the country. We were built around a single observation: most Indian businesses were sold a cyber policy as an add-on by someone who had never read a DPDP notification clause.
Between 2023 and 2025, three things happened at once. Indian businesses moved their operations onto SaaS and cloud. Ransomware crews started treating mid-market Indian companies as the softest targets in Asia. And Parliament put a number on carelessness with personal data.
What did not change was the insurance conversation. Cyber cover was still being sold as a two-line add-on to a fire policy, with a limit chosen because it sounded round. Companies were buying ₹1 crore of cover while holding two million customer records.
We started this desk to close that gap. We do the unglamorous work: reading wordings, arguing sub-limits, evidencing controls to underwriters, and being reachable when the encryption note appears on a server at midnight.
A risk review that produces a defensible sum insured instead of a guess. A market submission that underwriters can price properly, which is how you get better terms without changing insurer. A comparison you can take to your board. And a claims process where someone else does the chasing.
We work with businesses from ten-person SaaS teams to listed manufacturers. The common thread is that they hold personal data they cannot afford to lose, and contracts that make them liable when they do.
Where we are. Second Floor, B38, B Block, Sector 5, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301. Meetings in person across Delhi NCR, and on video everywhere else in India.
No motor, no group health, no shop insurance. Three covers means we read every cyber wording in the Indian market rather than skimming forty product lines.
Our comparison sheet opens with what is not covered, the sub-limits and the waiting periods. If a policy is thin, you will hear it from us before you hear it from an insurer's claims team.
Placement takes a week. A claim takes months. We staff for the second one: named handler, insurer panel triggered fast, and help with the Board notification and data principal notices.
Underwriters ask about MFA coverage, backup immutability, EDR, logging retention and vendor DPAs. We take that conversation off your CTO's plate and translate it both ways.
The one your current broker answered vaguely. Sub-limits, DPDP penalty insurability, whether your contractual liability is actually picked up. We will answer it straight.
